Wednesday – Wishing you (and me) Well

We humans sometimes think negative thoughts about ourselves; young adults or teenagers unfortunately often spend time in negative self-talk. It comes from having low self-esteem. I definitely was guilty of that when I was a teenager. It’s taken me years to feel more confident and to be able to look myself in the eyes and love what I see.

I have one online student this school year who is such a lovely young lady, but her self-esteem is so very fragile. So we start every session with these loving kindness meditations that my friend and yoga teacher Jennifer introduced to me at one of her retreats. It’s a very liberating, emotional and strengthening exercise where we wish well upon others and ourselves. I love it.

So on this mid-week day of Wednesday, I give you my awesome sunset view and say: “may you be healthy, happy and WELL.” That’s all.
