We made it!

So, I finally got here!

No, we are always here, is what my husband would say. Yes, true, but I am now where I wanted to get to -back in 2020 when I began my path to become a self-published author.

I did it! This journey has been really amazing. I’ve learned so much. It took longer than I initially thought, and it’s not over yet. Now the marketing and selling starts.

My shop is up on the website thanks to Susanna, an amazingly talented friend who really knows how to do that digital stuff. I’ve been packing up books to ship since we made the announcement that the books had arrived.

As I type this, one book is on its way over the Atlantic ocean up to Iceland. A couple are flying up to Canada while another is traveling east all the way to Australia!! I wish I was going with it. I have always dreamed of visiting that part of our planet.

And many more books to other homes. Many are staying locally too. I am extremely grateful to all of those who already ordered their copies. And, thanks to another dear friend, I have a book reading scheduled in March and I hope to get some more booked.

So, if you know someone who would be interested in getting an author visit or to order a book or two, please don’t hesitate to spread the word. Maybe you know a teacher or a librarian who would like for her/ his readers to get a chance to see and hear the book? In the case that I do book readings, Bertie Bunny gets to come along, of course.

Yes, Bertie Bunny is part of the book, and the cute little crocheted bunny is such a sweet one for any little child who likes to hold onto and tell stories to toy animals. As my sons did when they were little.

Our middle son Kaj in particular was constantly carrying a toy or animal around and telling stories to it. His imagination was (and still is) full, colorful and wonderful.

Kaj and his brothers, Oskar and Lukas, are the reason why I wrote this book. My husband (their father) is the reason why I already have sold so many books. Bill’s been great at marketing it so far. You too can do it. You’re welcome to use the photos in this post to spread the word. And the link below will bring people straight to the website shop!

I look forward to hearing back from you, if you have any tips on where I can market and sell the books and bunnies. Take care sweet people, enjoy your day.
